Michaela Neubert

Michaela Neubert , née Michaela Boser (* 1963 in Würzburg ) is a German art historian .

Life

Michaela Neubert studied art history , folklore and archeology at the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the Albert Ludwigs University of Freiburg . The Master's degree she made in 1991. With an extensive dissertation on Stefan Kummer about Franz Joseph Spiegler , the chief representative of the Swabian Baroque painting , doctorate her to Dr. phil. As part of her research, she received a doctoral grant from the German Study Center in Venice .

Together with Stefan Kummer and Verena Friedrich, she was involved in the project "The Genesis of the Würzburg Residence - Building History and Equipment" funded by the German Research Foundation.

She was also involved in the scientific project of the edition of the “Pomona Franconica” by Johann Prokop Mayer .

Since 2005 she has worked as a curator at the Institute for Higher Education at the University of Würzburg.
