Mikhail Aleksandrov (also Mihail Alexandrov , Bulgarian Михаил Александров ; born June 11, 1989 in Sofia ) is a Bulgarian football player . His position is midfield .
career
Aleksandrov played for CSKA Sofia in his youth . From there he was supposed to move to Liverpool in the summer of 2007 , but was not given a work permit. He then joined Borussia Dortmund after a guest performance in which he was able to convince . There he first played with the A-Juniors and was then part of the squad of the second team for the 2008/09 season , with which he took first place in the table in the Regionalliga West and thus rose to the third division . However, he was only used twice. He finally made his professional league debut on November 7, 2009, when he replaced Sebastian Hille in the 78th minute of the 1-0 home win against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt on matchday 16 of the 2009/10 season . After the season he returned to his native Bulgaria.
After a short stopover at Akademik Sofia , Aleksandrov moved to Ludogorez Razgrad in January 2011 , with whom he was promoted to A Grupa in the same game year . Immediately after promotion to the first division, Ludogorez won the triple: championship, cup and supercup. In the following years 2013 and 2014 he was able to win the Bulgarian championship title again. The sporting upswing was also evident in the European Cup. In the 2013/14 season , Aleksandrov reached the round of 16 of the Europa League with his club, and a year later they qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time .
On February 29, 2016, the traditional Polish club Legia Warsaw announced the commitment of Aleksandrov.
