Mikhail Grachev , even Mikhail Grachev ( Russian Михаил Грачёв ; * 4. January 1988 in Omsk ) is a Russian racing driver . He was the Russian touring car champion in 2013 and 2014. He started in the TCR International Series in 2015 .

Career

Gratschow began his motorsport career in 2008 in karting . In 2009 he switched to autocross and competed in the Russian autocross championship. He was third in the D2-1600 classification. In 2010, Grachev competed in the A1600 class of the Russian ice racing championship. He finished this with a victory in third place. In 2011 Gratschow also made his debut in touring car racing . He took part in the light class of the Russian touring car championship and finished fifth overall. In addition, he took part in the D2-1600 classification of the Russian autocross championship and won it. In 2012 Gratschow won the light classification of the Russian touring car championship twelve times and won the overall classification. In addition, he defended the Russian autocross championship title in the D2-1600 class.

In 2013, Gratschow received a cockpit at AMG Motorsport in the main category of the Russian touring car championship. In 2013 he also took part in one event of the European Touring Car Cup for AMG Motorsport and Proteam Racing . He finished tenth in the Super 2000 classification. In 2014, Gratschow stayed with AMG Motorsport in the Russian touring car championship and defended his championship title with ten wins in sixteen races. He also took part in two events of the European Touring Car Cup 2014 for Proteam Racing in the TC2 Turbo classification. He won a race in this classification and was fifth overall. He also drove two races in the ADAC Procar series , which he won both, and competed in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in some races .

In 2015 , Gratschow switched to the newly founded TCR International Series for Liqui Moly Team Engstler . It was used in every race and used three vehicles from different brands. Two third places were his best results. He finished the season in eighth place overall.
