Michal Schön (born January 29, 1987 in Šumperk , Czechoslovakia ) is a German - Czech ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Saale Bulls Halle from the Oberliga since October 2012 .
Career
Michal Schön went through all the junior teams of HC Litvínov and started in the U18 extra league in 2002. Until 2007 he played for the U18 and U20 teams of Litvínov. He also went on the ice at the end of the 2005/06 season in the play-downs of the 2nd division for HC Stadion Teplice . At the end of the following season he completed five appearances in the 2nd division for Hokej Šumperk in 2003 .
At the beginning of the 2007/08 season he was under contract with HC Zubr Přerov and was eleven times in the second division on the ice. After receiving a German passport, he moved to the Bayern League for the Höchstadter EC . At the end of January 2008, shortly before the end of the transition period, he was signed by the manager of the Dresdner Eislöwen, Jan Tábor . With the Eislöwen he made it to the 2nd Bundesliga and won the league championship. After another season in Dresden, he got a trial contract with the Hamburg Freezers from the German Ice Hockey League in the summer of 2009 , which was later extended to the end of the season.
In September 2010 Schön was signed by the EHF Passau . He then spent the 2011/12 season with the Hannover Braves before moving to EHC Freiburg in the summer of 2012 . However, he only stayed there until October, before he was signed by MEC Hall 04 . He has been under contract there since then and was deployed as a defender from 2014.
