Michel Clement

Michel Clement (born June 19, 1971 in Kiel ) is a Dutch economist and professor of business administration, especially marketing and media management, at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg .

Life

From 1977 to 1990 Michel Clement attended various schools in northern Germany.

He completed his business administration studies and doctorate with Sönke Albers at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel (CAU). From 1999 to 2002 he held various management positions in the Bertelsmann Group, including a. he was a co-founder of Snoopstar . 2002 to 2005 he produced at the CAU his habilitation and was in the winter semester 2005/2006, the holder of a W3 - Professor of Marketing and Services at the University of Passau .

Michel Clement has held the chair for Marketing and Media Management at the Institute for Marketing and Media at the University of Hamburg since 2006 .

He regularly takes on visiting professorships at Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in the United States (USA) and at Jönköping International Business School in Sweden .

Research priorities

Michel Clement and his team of chairs conduct research in cooperation with colleagues from the Institute for Marketing and Media , the DRK Blood Donation Service North / East and several national and international colleagues. The research focuses on marketing for international entertainment - products (movies, music, books and games), Innovative media technologies and business models for digital products and services ( social networks , peer-to-peer networks, Interactive TV), customer management in innovation, blood donor marketing and Management in China . He is a board member of the Research Center for Media and Communication.

Research priorities in the cooperation

Michel Clement's main research interests in the cooperation include the motives of blood donors , blood donor deferrals , the so-called crowding-out effects, the community and blood donation as such.
