Jetta Frost

Jetta Frost (* 1968 in Hamburg ) is a German business economist and professor of business administration (BWL), in particular organization and management at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg .

Life

Jetta Frost studied business administration, industrial and organizational psychology at the Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg and the University of Zurich .

From 1993 to 2004, she had a job as a research assistant and senior assistant at the department organization, innovation and technology management from Margit Osterloh . From 1994 to 1996 Frost was responsible for the research project of the Swiss Society for Organization and Management (SGO) on the subject of process management as a core competence . In 1997 she received her doctorate from the University of Zurich. The subject of her dissertation was The coordination and orientation function of the organization .

In 1997/1998 Jetta Frost was the winner of the SGO Prize for the best dissertation in the field of leadership / organization.

From 2001 to 2002 she received a habilitation grant from the Ecoscientia Foundation to promote special issues in education and science as well as project funding from the Swiss National Science Foundation for the research project How Much Market Can the Company Take ? Research priorities

Her research interests are business management, design of organizational structures and processes, organizational design ( "Governance Structures and Governance Mechanisms"), Consolidated and Holding Management, Comparative organizational theories and theories of the firm, motivation smanagement and behavioral control, knowledge and process management as well as the relationship between theory and practice in modern business administration.
