Michel Cornelisse (born December 24, 1965 in Amsterdam ) is a former Dutch cyclist and later sports director .
Career
Cornelisse turned professional at Superconfex-Kwantum-Yoko in 1987 . His first international success with professional drivers came in 1989 with the Ster van Zwolle . His greatest career success was the overall victory of the Tour of Luxembourg . His other successes include victories in the one-day races Nokere Koerse (1993) and De Kustpijl (1992 and 1993).
After the end of the 2000 season, Cornelisse ended his active career and has been the sporting director of international cycling teams since 2005 .

Michel Cornelisse comes from a family of cyclists. His father Henk Cornelisse and his uncle Rink were also professional cyclists.
