Michelle Wiki (born October 23, 1989 ) is a Swiss floorball player . She is under contract with the National League A representative UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets .

Career

Wiki grew up in Zumikon near Zurich, where she played floorball for the local Lake Zurich club .

Floorball riders Dürnten-Bubikon-Rüti

Wiki played her first games in National League A in the 2006/07 season for FB Riders DBR , a club from the Zurich Oberland . In eight games, she scored two goals and booked an assist.

UHC Dietlikon

From the 2007/08 season, Wiki played at UHC Dietlikon for several years . In 2007 , 2008 and 2009 she was champion with the Zurich club , and vice- champion in 2012 and 2013 . In 2008 and 2009 he also won the Cup (second place in 2010 and 2012). Even as a young player, she was able to gain international experience when UHC Dietlikon won the EuroFloorball Cup (now the Champions Cup ) in 2007 (4: 3 in the final against the Swedish champions IKSU Innebandy ).

FBC Uppsala

In the 2013/14 season Wiki played in the highest Swedish league, the Svenska Superligan , at FBC Uppsala .

UHC Dietlikon

After a year she returned to Switzerland to the UHC Dietlikon and won the cup final in 2015 and 2016. In the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons it was again enough for the runner-up in the championship - Wiki scored 65 goals and a total of 83 points scorer in the second season.

KAIS Mora IF

After this successful season and graduating as a lawyer, Wiki moved back to Sweden for the 2016/17 season, this time to KAIS Mora IF , one of the top clubs in the Svenska Superligan. Mora lost to IKSU in the final.

UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets

Since 2017, Wiki has been playing again in Dietlikon, which has been renamed UHC Kloten-Dietlikon Jets for the 2018/19 season . In 2019 Wiki won the Supercup for the first time .

National team

In 2006, Wiki put on the shirt for the Swiss U19 national floorball team for the first time for the World Cup and scored two goals for Switzerland. For the national team , she played at world championships from the 2011 home World Cup in St. Gallen . She is one of the players with over 100 appearances for the national team.

At the home World Cup 2019 in Neuchâtel , Wiki contributed significantly to the so-called "Miracle of Neuchâtel" with two goals: She scored the equalizer in the 60th minute and the winning goal in extra time.

Private

Wiki was admitted as since 2017 lawyer and full-time work in this profession.
