Miguel de Lima Valverde (born September 29, 1872 in Santo Amaro , Brazil , † May 7, 1951 ) was a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic Archbishop of Olinda e Recife .

Life

Miguel de Lima Valverde received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia on May 30, 1895 .

On February 6, 1911, Pope Pius X appointed him first bishop of the newly established diocese of Santa Maria . The Archbishop of São Salvador da Bahia , Jerônimo Tomé da Silva , donated him episcopal ordination on October 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Alagôas , Manuel Antônio de Oliveira Lopes , and the Bishop of São Luís do Maranhão , Francisco de Paula Silva CM .

Pope Pius XI appointed him on February 10, 1922 Archbishop of Olinda e Recife.
