Mika Nurmela (born December 26, 1971 in Oulu ) is a Finnish football player on the position of midfielder .
Player career
society
After completing his youth at various clubs, he was first used in men's football in 1988 and over the years got his first professional contract with FC Haka Valkeakoski . This was followed by the stations Malmö FF (until 1995/96), FC Emmen (until 1999/2000), SC Heerenveen (until 2003/04).
He then moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern as a bearer of hope in the right midfield for a transfer fee of € 750,000 . There, however, he could never live up to the demands placed on himself as an active Finnish national player and could not even establish himself as a regular player.
After his unsuccessful interlude at FCK, which he left before the 2005/06 season, followed positions like the HJK Helsinki , which he left again in the same season and went to SC Heracles Almelo in the Dutch honor division. After he decided to end his career as an active soccer player in the summer of 2008, he returned to active soccer again at the beginning of the following year and has been in the Finnish second division ever since (as of August 2011).
