In 1990 he was signed by FC Berlin and played five games in the top league of GDR football in the 1990/91 season . However, the qualification did not succeed, so Jesse had to compete with FC Berlin in the Northeast Football League . Due to the first place at the end of the season, the club played again for promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. In the relegation games, Jesse was used five times and scored one goal. Nevertheless, the ascent did not succeed this time either.

In 1994 the BSV Brandenburg signed Jesse. There he scored six goals in 33 games in the 1994/95 regional league season , but could not prevent relegation. For the following season he was signed by FC Energie Cottbus . With Cottbus he made it to the finals in the 1996/97 DFB Cup . In the final game, however, he was not used. In the 1996/97 season he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga with FC Energie. There Jesse came in the following three seasons to 74 missions, but remained without a goal.

In 2000, Jesse moved to Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he made 22 appearances in the regional league. He scored four goals. Then Jesse was obliged by BFC Berlin, which, however, had to be relegated from the Northeast Football League in the 2001/2002 season due to an application for bankruptcy. That's why he moved to Ludwigsfelder FC in 2002 . For the club he completed 14 games in the 2004/05 league season. In 2005 he finally went to RSV Waltersdorf 09 , where he stayed until the end of his career in 2010.
