action
The two students Gopi and Radha get married after graduating from college. Then they spend their honeymoon in a village near the Ganges . Suddenly, during a boat trip, Gopi has a vision ...
Years before she was born, the ferryman Gopi and the college student Radha lived in this village. Every day he takes Radha to college in his boat. Although they come from different castes, they both share a deep friendship.
When one day Radha's uncle Rajendra appears, the difficulties begin: Rajendra becomes aware of the cheeky village girl Gauri, who is more interested in Gopi. This does not escape Rajendra and therefore wants to wipe out Gopi. He arranges Radha's wedding to the wealthy Ram Vishwanath Rai.
As soon as the couple is married, Radha's husband dies. She returns to her parents' house as a widow and learns of her father's serious illness. After so much bad luck, she feels even more drawn to Gopi. Because of this, Gauri becomes even more jealous. To leave everything behind, Radha and Gopi flee by boat and drown in a violent whirlpool. After this tragedy, Radha and Gopi stand in front of the grave of the two lost lovers. All the happier they are to have found each other in this life.
