Milan Kosanović (born August 14, 1981 in Niš / Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian handball player .

Kosanović, who plays for the Danish club Viborg HK , is a handball goalkeeper .

Milan Kosanović began playing handball with Železničar Niš in his hometown. There he also made his debut in the Serbian first division. With Niš he reached the EHF Cup three times , but never got past the capital city clubs RK Partizan and RK Roter Stern Belgrade . In 2004 he then moved to Viking Stavanger in Norway. He stayed there for two years before joining the German newly promoted HBW Balingen-Weilstetten in 2006 . With the Swabians he was behind Miloš Slabý for a long time only number 2 in the goalkeeping position; when at the end of 2007 Christian Ramota was also committed, Kosanović saw no more prospects at Balingen and moved to league rivals GWD Minden . He later played for RK Vardar PRO Skopje and Frigoríficos Morrazo. In the summer of 2011 Kosanović signed a contract with the Serbian club RK Red Star Belgrade . A season later he moved to Viborg HK in Denmark . In the summer of 2014 he signed a contract with the French first division club Istres Ouest Provence Handball .

Milan Kosanović has played 40 youth internationals for his home country so far, but has not played for the Serbian national team .
