Milan "Lola" Smiljanić (Serbian: Милан "Лола" Смиљанић; born November 19, 1986 in Kalmar , Sweden ) is a Serbian football player.

Career

Before moving to the Spanish Primera Division , Lola played in the SuperLiga at FK Partizan Belgrade as the team's captain.

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig for the capital club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . At the end of December 2014, by mutual agreement with his clubs, he terminated his contract and left the Turkish capital city after one and a half seasons. During his time at Gençlerbirliği, he fell short of expectations, only played one league game and then only played for the club's reserve team.

National team

At the U-21 European Football Championship in the Netherlands in 2007 , he was one of the main players in the team . By reaching the finals and the excellent performances he showed, big clubs quickly noticed him.
