Milan Vučićević (born April 2, 1978 in Alibunar / Yugoslavia ) is a former Serbian handball player .

Vučićević, who ran for the Serbian club RK Kolubara and for the Serbian national handball team, is mostly used in the right backcourt . His body length is 2.02 m.

Milan Vučićević started playing handball in his hometown of Aliburnar. He later made his debut for RK Lovćen Cetinje in the Serbian first division. In 2001 he moved on to Prule Ljubljana in Slovenia. He won the championship and cup with the capital city in 2002, and in 2002 and 2003 he made it to the semi-finals of the EHF Champions League . In 2003 he went to BM Altea in the Spanish league ASOBAL , where he was in the final of the EHF Cup in 2004 , but ultimately failed at the German THW Kiel . After a year with the Macedonian top club RK Vardar Skopje , he moved on to Sporting Club Horta in the Azores in 2005 , where he also only played for one year. In the summer of 2006, VfL Gummersbach signed him to replace the long-term injured Denis Sakharov . After six months he joined the HSG Wetzlar until he signed a contract with the Wilhelmshaven AGM in the summer of 2007. At the beginning of March 2008 he was released from the club management due to a lack of professional attitude. In summer 2008 he returned to the Sporting Club Horta. Two years later, Vučićević Benfica joined Lisbon . After Vučićević won the Portuguese Cup with Benfica in 2011 and was in the final of the EHF Challenge Cup , he moved to the Serbian club RK Radnički Kragujevac. In January 2012 he moved to league rivals RK Kolubara. A month later he joined the Macedonian club RK Metalurg Skopje . After Vučićević won the championship with Metalurg in 2012, he returned to Kolubara.

Milan Vučićević had so far played over 30 international matches for the Serbian national handball team. With Serbia and Montenegro, he won at the 2001 Handball World Championship bronze . With the new, all-Serbian national team, he has not yet qualified for a major international tournament.
