Miles Fisher (* 23. June 1983 when James Leslie Miles Fisher in Dallas , Texas ) is an American actor , musician and entrepreneur .

Life

Fisher's father is president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas and was the United States' acting agent from 1997 to 2001, and his mother is a trustee of the American Film Institute . His maternal grandfather, James M. Collins , served in the House of Representatives for Texas from 1968 to 1983 . Fisher himself graduated from Harvard . In June 2014, he married news producer Lucette Blodgett in Los Angeles .

Fisher made his actor debut in the 1997 film True Women . Since then he has appeared in cinema and television productions and has participated in more than 20 productions. In addition to a leading role in Final Destination 5 and a supporting role in J. Edgar , he played small roles in individual episodes of the TV series Mad Men and Psych . In 2019 he used his visual similarity to Tom Cruise , whom he had portrayed twice before, and published a bogus application video for the 2020 presidential election under the title Tom Cruise 2020 - Run Tom Run .

Miles Fisher also worked as a musician for a while. In 2009 he achieved a viral hit with a music video based on American Psycho and the corresponding cover version of the Talking Heads classic This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody) . In 2011 he parodied the horror film series Final Destination and the popular 90s sitcom Saved by the Bell with his music video for New Romance . His debut album Video Music was self- published in 2013 .

As an entrepreneur, Fisher runs a coffee roastery .
