It rises near La Barberie , on the municipal border between Romagné and Saint-Germain-en-Coglès . The river generally drains in a westerly direction and flows into the Couesnon as a right tributary after 25 kilometers at Brais , in the municipality of Vieux-Vy-sur- Couesnon .
