Ministry of Geology
The Ministry of Geology was a ministry of the GDR from 1974 to 1989 . It was subordinate to Manfred Bochmann . Its seat was the former Prussian Geological State Institute at Invalidenstrasse 44 Berlin , today the seat of the Federal Ministry of Transport .
In 1989 the ministry was merged into the Ministry of Heavy Industry, and in 1990 it was again part of the Ministry of Economic Affairs .
