Minou Zaribaf
Minou Zaribaf (* 1970 in Hamburg ) is a German media designer and cartoonist .
Inspired by American underground cartoonists such as Aline Kominsky-Crumb and Phoebe Gloeckner , Minou Zaribaf began drawing comics herself after graduating from high school in graphics. In 1991, together with Andreas Michalke , she founded the comic magazine “Artige Zeiten”, which two years later received the award for the best fanzine at the Hamburg Comic Salon .
Minou Zaribaf lives and works in Berlin as an illustrator , layouter and screen designer . She shows u. a. Responsible for the layout and lettering of titles such as The Everyday Struggle by Manu Larcenet or Shenzhen by Guy Delisle .
Since 2006 she has been drawing the comic strip "Rock Riddles" for the weekly newspaper Jungle World .
