Mirja Turestedt

Mirja Viveka Turestedt (born September 24, 1972 in Borås ) is a Swedish actress .

Career

She grew up in Gothenburg and Malmö . After graduating from school, she worked as a freelancer at various theaters, on the radio, in film and television, and as a speaker for several audio books . Turestedt studied from 1998 to 2002 at the Gothenburg Theater School . After completing her acting training at the Theater Academy in 2002, she made her first appearances in Swedish film and television and then worked as an actress in many other film and television productions . In autumn and winter of 2007 she had in the television series Labyrinth of the television station TV 4 the important supporting role of Marika. She also appeared in the film Arn - The Crusader , where she played the role of the titular hero's mother Sigrid. She also played the female lead in the comedy Sommaren med Göran - En midsommarnattskomedi , and in 2009 the policewoman Monica Figuerola in the Swedish Stieg Larsson Millennium trilogy and film series in the sequel Forgiveness . In the episode of the film series Maria Wern, Kripo Gotland - The Island of the Puppets , she played the role of Victoria . In 2010 she also worked as a stage actress at the Royal Dramatic Theater in the play Slott i Sverige and in 2011 had several appearances at the Stockholm Stadsteater (Stockholm City Theater) in Tartuffe .

Mirja Turestedt also worked as a narrator on the audio book Twilight .
