Mirsad Terzić (born July 12, 1983 in Priboj , Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian handball player .

Career

The 1.96 m tall and 100 kg heavy backcourt player began his career in his home country with RK Željezničar before joining the up-and-coming club HRK Izviđač in 2002 , with whom he won the Bosnian championship in 2004 and 2005 and made it to the semi-finals of the EHF European Cup Cup winners could advance. He then joined the Croatian series champion RK Zagreb , with whom he won the double in 2006 and 2007. After moving to RK Celje , he won his fifth championship in a row. From 2009 he was under contract with the Hungarian top club KC Veszprém and won the championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019 as well as in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and the cup in 2018. In the summer of 2020 he moved to the Polish first division club Wisła Płock .

Terzić has not yet qualified for an international tournament with the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team , but is his country's record holder with 123 international matches and 402 goals.
