Mitterwiedenhof is a district of the municipality of Vierkirchen in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .

description

The three neighboring wastelands of Ober- , Mitter- and Unterwiedenhof are a good two kilometers east-southeast of the core town of Vierkirchen. A municipal road leads in the direction of Vierkirchen and to the district road DAH 4 , which runs further east, and another to Rettenbach . The Biberbach flows about 500 m south .

The place was probably cleared from the forest in the 10th century. In 1090 it was first mentioned together with Unterwiedenhof as "Winnenhoven". One possible name interpretation is “farms on the pasture”. Owners were lower aristocrats, the Indersdorf monastery as well as Kammerbergers and Munich citizens.

Until the regional reform in Bavaria , Mitterwiedenhof was part of the municipality of Biberbach . On May 1, 1978 this was dissolved, Mitterwiedenhof came to Vierkirchen.
