Oberwiedenhof is a part of the municipality of Vierkirchen in the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau .

description

The three neighboring wastelands of Ober-, Mitter- and Unterwiedenhof are a good two kilometers east-southeast of the core town of Vierkirchen. A local road leads in the direction of Vierkirchen and to the district road DAH 4, which runs further east . The Brimsgraben rises in a wood to the north of the village and flows over a pond to the west into the Biberbach, which flows about 500 m to the south .

The place was probably cleared from the forest in the 10th century. In 972 he is mentioned for the first time as "Arnolteshovun" (= Arnold's court). Owners were lower aristocrats, the Indersdorf monastery as well as Kammerbergers and Munich citizens.

Until the regional reform in Bavaria , Oberwiedenhof was part of the municipality of Biberbach . On May 1, 1978 this was dissolved and Oberwiedenhof came to Vierkirchen.
