Mizuho Nasukawa

Mizuho Nasukawa ( Japanese 那 須 川 瑞 穂 , Nasukawa Mizuho ; born November 22, 1979 ) is a Japanese long-distance runner who specializes in the marathon .

Life

In 2002 she won bronze at the Asian Athletics Championships over 1500 m and 5000 m .

In 2004 she finished fourth in the Osaka Women's Marathon in 2:29:49 hours and the following year eighth in 2:30:15 hours.

In 2009 she won the Tokyo Marathon in 2:25:38 h with a lead of over three minutes, but was not taken into account for the World Athletics Championships in Berlin , as the race was not one of those that the Japanese Athletics Federation had designated as qualifying runs. At the Hokkaidō Marathon and the Chicago Marathon , she was each seventh this season.

Mizuho Nasukawa is from Iwate Prefecture . She first started for the corporate team at the chemical company Sekisui and then switched to the team at the gaming machine manufacturer Aruze.
