Mohamed Fofana (born October 21, 1985 in Conakry ) is a Guinean football player . The midfielder has played most of his professional career in the Finnish Veikkausliiga .
Career
Fofana began his career at Oxford United . With the club he rose in late 2006 from the fourth-rate Football League Two in the Conference National . He then left the club in the direction of Finland and hired Myllykosken Pallo -47 . For MyPa he played two and a half years in the top Finnish league and reached places in the midfield of the league with the team. In October 2007 he was appointed to the Guinean national team for the first time by the French coach Robert Nouzaretin .
In 2009 Fofana moved within Finland to league rivals FC Lahti . Despite the well-known teammate Jari Litmanen , he played with last year's third in Veikkausliiga again only in the middle of the league. In the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League , however, he moved with the team after victories over the Albanian club KS Dinamo Tirana and ND Gorica from Slovenia in the third qualifying round. He has been active in the Finnish second division since 2011.
