The PK-35 Vantaa (Pallokerho-35 Vantaa) is a Finnish football club from Vantaa .

history

PK-35 was founded in Vyborg in 1935 , but moved to the Finnish capital Helsinki after the Winter War . In the 1998 season, the team played for the first time in the Veikkausliiga . For the 1999 season, the businessman Hjallis Harkimo bought the professional department and the associated first division license of the club and started with the FC Jokerit he founded in the Veikkausliiga, whereupon PK-35 started again in the lower leagues. After the 2008 season, the team moved to Vantaa in the immediate vicinity of Helsinki. In the 2015 season, the club was able to achieve 2nd place in the Ykkönen and thus qualify for the relegation against the penultimate of the Veikkausliiga, FC KTP Kotka , against whom they prevailed in 2 games with 3-2 goals. Thus, the club will start again in the top Finnish league for the first time in 18 years in the 2016 season.

However, this was followed by immediate relegation and for the 2017 season the club had to file for bankruptcy and relegate. To this day, the men's team no longer appears in Finnish football, only youth teams are registered.
