Mohsen Sadr ( Persian محسن صدر Mohsen Sader ; * 1866 in Mahallat near Markazi ; † October 19, 1962 in Tehran ) was an Iranian politician and Prime Minister of Iran .

Life

Mohsen Sadr was born in Mahallat near Markazi in 1866 , the son of Seyyed Hossein 'Fachr ol-Zakerin', a wealthy clergyman. He got the title "Sadr ol-Aschraf" after the death of his godfather Seyyed Sadr ed-Din 'Sadr ol-Aschraf', who was the son-in-law of the influential courtier Anoushirvan (Shir) Khan Qajar Qovanlou 'Eyn ol-Molk' 'Etezad od- Doleh '(a cousin of Naser ad-Din Shah ) was. Mohsen 'Sadr ol-Ashraf' served as royal advisor to one of the sons of Nāser ad-Dīn Shāh and served in many political positions during his career, e.g. B. as President of the Supreme Civil Court in Tehran , Governor of Khorasan , President of the Majles , Minister of Justice, Prime Minister (1945) and Senator.

He died on October 19, 1962 of a brain tumor in Tehran.
