Monika Finotti (* 1955 ) is an Austrian actress .

Finotti has appeared in a number of Austrian films . However, the main focus of her acting was television , where Finotti mainly played in television series . She was often used in series with a southern German , Upper Bavarian or Austrian background. As their first film work, the IMDb film database is running the short film Der Termin from 1994.

Finotti gained notoriety in particular through her continuous leading role as Heidi Mähr in the Austrian television series Julia - An Unusual Woman . From 1999 to 2003 she played the wife of the farmer Max Mähr and was the lover of the mayor Martin Reidinger ( Franz Buchrieser ), with whom she has a son.

Finotti had episode roles and guest roles a. a. in the television series Kaisermühlen Blues (1996; as Mrs. Horrak), Kommissar Rex (2001; as brothel boss and puffmother Eva Kowalski), Medicopter 117 - Every Life Counts (2001; as wife and accident victim Angelika Sauter) and SOKO Vienna (2006; as prostitute ).

She was seen several times between 2001 and 2015 in the crime series SOKO Kitzbühel . In the episode Kajak in den Tod (2005) she played Gudrun Stelzer, the mother of a top kayak athlete and owner of a trout farm. In 2006 she was seen as Verena Kubelik in the episode Death of a Witch ; she played the mother of a young doctor. In 2010 she played the episode cardiac fibrillation, the doctor Dr. Eva Huber and, in 2015, garbage diver, the wealthy neighbor and witness Anneliese Welty from Munich .

In the Austrian film in the early 80s (2011) she played a small role as geriatric nurse Ruth alongside Karl Merkatz and Christine Ostermayer .

Finotti lives in Vienna .
