The Monne is a river in France that runs in the Puy-de-Dôme department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Volcans d'Auvergne Regional Nature Park on the southern flank of the mountain peak Puy de Baladou (1455 m) in the municipality of Saulzet-le-Froid , generally drains in an easterly direction and flows after 28 kilometers at the municipal boundary of Tallende and Veyre-Monton as right tributary into the Veyre .
