Moritz von Denicke

Moritz David Georg Wilhelm von Denicke , also: Denike (born March 17, 1811 in Evensen , today part of Neustadt am Rübenberge ; † January 12, 1894 ibid) was a Prussian administrative lawyer and politician.

Life

Denicke was born on March 17, 1811 in Evensen as the son of Rudolf Denicke, Herr auf Evensen, a descendant of David Denicke , and Henriette Denicke nee. v. Drebber born. Denicke studied law at the University of Göttingen from 1829 . During his studies he became a member of the Corps Hannovera .

In 1852 he was appointed royal Hanoverian bailiff for the Auburg office in Diepholz , and in 1859 bailiff for the Diepholz office , which fell to the Prussian province of Hanover in 1866 . From 1867 he was also head of the district of Diepholz. In addition, he was a member of the second chamber of the state assembly of the Kingdom of Hanover as a member of parliament until 1866 . From 1877 to 1885 he sat for the constituency of Hanover 9 (Diepholz) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Free Conservative Party .

In 1882 he was raised to the Prussian nobility. Denicke was the owner of the Evensen manor . He was married to Therese v. Denicke born Thielen. From this marriage a son was born.
