Evensen is a district of the city of Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony .

geography

The village of Evensen is located west of the Leine on state road  191. The Evens Moor borders to the northwest .

history

The place was first mentioned as "Evendissen" in 1221 and later belonged to the Mandelsloh Bailiwick.

With the regional reform, the community of Evensen lost its political independence on March 1, 1974 and became a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge.
