Dinstorf is part of the Brase district of the city of Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony .

The village is west of the Leine on the L 191.

history

The village was first mentioned in documents under the name Denstorpe in 1250. In 1260, a hoof was recorded for the place under the name Dinstorpe , which the main courtyard in Dudensen was obliged to pay for. Around the year 1300 Eilbert Stetteringe is mentioned as a slave to Count Gerhard von Hoya . Later the place belonged to the Bailiwick Mandelsloh. The inheritance register of the city of Neustadt from 1620 names three Meier and four Kötner . The grain and meat tithe was to be paid to the Mariensee monastery . For the year 1848 57 inhabitants are recorded for the village under the name Dienstorf in six residential buildings. In 1928 Dinstorf was incorporated into Brase.
