Lutter is a northern district of the city of Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hanover region in Lower Saxony .

geography

The village of Lutter is located between the neighboring villages of Mandelsloh and Laderholz on the K 306 (Lutter Straße).

history

The place was first mentioned in a document in 1055.

With the territorial reform, the municipality of Lutter lost its political independence on March 1, 1974 and became a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge.

The joint local council of Mandelsloh, Amedorf , Brase / Dinstorf , Evensen , Lutter, Niedernstöcken , Stöckendrebber and Welze is made up of three councilors and eight councilors. There are also 19 advisory members in the local council.

Buildings

  • The Hermann-Löns-Stein in Lutter / Welzer Grund - access from Welze - marks the place where the poet Hermann Löns met the local poet Heinrich Schulze-Lohhof from Büren.
  • The chapel , consecrated as a sacred building in 1748, is in the center of the village and is now used once a month for worship.
