The MA Mortenson Company , mostly operating under its Mortenson Construction brand, is an American construction and construction company based in Minneapolis , Minnesota , with 2014 sales of (estimated) US $ 3 billion . The company has design offices in Chicago , Denver , Milwaukee , Minneapolis, Phoenix and Seattle and also builds in Canada and the People's Republic of China .
