Mose Penaani Tjitendero (born December 25, 1943 in Okahandja , South West Africa , today Namibia , † April 26, 2006 in Windhoek , Namibia) was a Namibian politician.

In 1963 Tjitendero went into exile in Tanzania because he was denied an education under the apartheid regime. He later studied at American universities in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts , where he earned an academic doctorate in 1976. With the support of the UN , he opened the UN Institute for Namibia in Lusaka , Zambia at the same time . Until he returned home shortly before independence, Tjitendero took care of the vocational training of young Namibians in exile at the UN institute and in Angola. In 1981 he joined the SWAPO when he was speaker of the independence of Namibia on 21 March 1990 to 2004 National Assembly (ger .: National Assembly ). He was also a member of the SWAPO Central Committee from 1981 until his death in 2006. He was a co-founder and chairman of the SADC Paliamentary Forum from 1999 to 2006. He's on his hero Acker (English Heroes Acre buried) near Windhoek.
