Motowyliwka ( Ukrainian Мотовилівка ; Russian отовиловка Motowilowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 3500 inhabitants (2001).
The village, first mentioned in writing in the 12th century, was called Tscherwona Motowyliwka from 1940 and received its current name in 2016 as part of the decommunization in Ukraine in 2016.
Motowyliwka borders in the north on the urban-type settlement Borowa and is the administrative center of the 44.04 km² district council of the same name in the north of Fastiv Rajon , which also includes the villages of Velyka Motowyliwka ( Велика Мотовилівка , ⊙ ) with about 1300 inhabitants, Vysnjaky ( Вишняки , ⊙ ) with about 240 inhabitants and Tarassenky ( Тарасенки , ⊙ ) with about 20 inhabitants.
The village is located on the bank of the Stuhna ( Ukrainian Стугна ), a tributary of the Dnieper , 20 km northeast of the Fastiv district center and 55 km southwest of the Kiev oblast center .
