societies

During the Bosnian War Subašić moved with his family to Rielasingen in southern Baden , where he played in the youth division of 1. FC Rielasingen-Arlen . When the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina improved after the war, the family returned to their hometown of Ključ after three years . There Subašić first played for NK Omladinac Sanica and NK Podgrmeč Sanski Most , before making his debut for FK Laktaši in the Bosnian Premijer Liga in 2008 . For the 2009/10 season he moved to league rivals FK Olimpik Sarajevo , where he quickly became a top performer. In the following season Subašić led his team as team captain to fifth place in the table, the best result in the club's history.

In August 2011 he signed a one-year loan contract with German second division promoted Dynamo Dresden . Subašić then made his competitive debut for Dresden on September 12, 2011 (7th matchday) when he was in the starting lineup in the 2-1 home win over VfL Bochum and scored both goals. In June 2012 he extended his contract with FK Olimpik Sarajevo until June 30, 2015 and was loaned to Dynamo Dresden for two more years. Nevertheless, the loan agreement was terminated by mutual agreement in June 2013. As a result, Subašić moved to the Belgian first division club Oud-Heverlee Löwen . From 2014 to 2015 Subasic was again under contract with FK Olimpik Sarajevo, before he joined the regional league team Wacker Burghausen after a brief period of absence .
