Muhammed Mert (born February 9, 1995 in Hasselt ) is a Belgian - Turkish football player .

Career

societies

Mert went through the youth team of the KRC Genk club and was included in the professional squad there in 2013. After a season without a competitive game, he moved to NEC Nijmegen and continued his career in the Netherlands . After a season he moved on to Fortuna Sittard . In 2017 he played for Víkingur Reykjavík and returned to the Netherlands for the season with his move to FC Den Bosch . In the summer of 2018 he then moved to the Turkish second division club Altınordu Izmir .

National teams

Mert began his national team career in 2010 with a commitment for the Turkish U-15 national team . After playing two more games for Turkey's U-16s , he decided to play for the Belgian national teams from now on . He made his debut in 2011 in the dress of the U-16 national team .
