Shcherbanivka ( Ukrainian Щербанівка ; Russian Щербановка Shcherbanowka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 240 inhabitants (2001).
Shcherbanivka is the only village of the 18 km² district council of the same name in the east of Obukhiv district .
Two settlements of the Trypillja culture were found in the municipality of the village, which was first mentioned in writing in 1196 . In Shcherbanivka, a memorial was erected in 2014 for the ataman Zelenyj (real name Danylo Terpylo , Ukrainian Данило Терпило ; 1886–1919) who was fighting in the Russian civil war .
The village is situated at an altitude of 101 m , 10 km east from Rajonzentrum Obukhiv and about 50 km south of the capital Kiev . The T – 10–33 territorial road runs south of Shcherbanivka .
