Ufuk Budak (born May 26, 1990 in Heidenheim an der Brenz ) is a German - Azerbaijani football player of Turkish descent.

Career

In the club

Budak, who was born and raised in Germany, went through the youth at Heidenheimer SB and in the summer of 1999 joined the E-youth of SSV Ulm 1846 . By the summer of 2009 he went through all age groups up to U-19, then played for a year in the 1st team and then moved to the reserve team at SC Freiburg . On May 14, 2012 Budak was adopted at SC Freiburg and thus left the club on June 30, 2012 when his contract expired. On June 23, 2012, Budak signed a three-year contract in Turkey with Eskişehirspor .

For the second half of the 2013/14 season, Budak was given to the second division club Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyespor . For the 2016/17 season he and his two teammates Umut Sönmez and Erkam Reşmen were signed by the first division club Kayserispor . In January 2017 he moved to the second division Manisaspor and in the summer of 2017 to the second division Samsunspor . After missing relegation with Samsunspor, he left Samsunspor in the summer of 2018 and moved on to league rivals Boluspor . Again just a year later he signed a contract with league rivals Altınordu Izmir .

In the national team

On August 8, 2011 he was called up for an international match from Azerbaijan for the first time and made his debut for the national team on September 6, 2011 in the European Championship qualifier against Kazakhstan .
