Mukadder Püskürt
Mukadder Püskürt (* 1977 in Tunceli ) is an Austrian documentary filmmaker.
life and career
The Turkish Kurd came to Austria from Turkey ( Eastern Anatolia ) at the age of 15 . Here she attended secondary school and a home economics school . Then she worked as an unskilled worker . After a subsequent job as a social worker in Bregenz , she passed the university entrance examination and began studying theater , film and media studies and education in Vienna .
In 2008, her feature film debut The Other I (2007) about women with a migration history in Austria won the documentary film competition of the film festival Turkey / Germany .
