The Municipio Bermejo is a district in the Tarija Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality of Bermejo is the southern two municipality of the province of Aniceto Arce . It borders the Municipio Padcaya to the north, and the Republic of Argentina to the west, south and east .
The central place of the municipality is the city of Bermejo with 29,459 inhabitants ( 2012 census ) in the center of the district.

The municipality of Bermejo is one of the southernmost districts of Bolivia and is located on the edge of the Andes in the Gran Chaco , on the border with Argentina and near the border with Paraguay .
The average annual temperature for Bermejo is 21.1 ° C, the monthly average temperatures vary between around 14 ° C in June and July, and 26 ° C in December and January. The distribution of precipitation is characterized by a semi-annual change between the dry season and the rainy season ; the annual rainfall is 942 mm.
