Munier Raychouni (born December 29, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German soccer player of Lebanese descent. Raychouni, who has both German and Lebanese citizenship, has been playing the central defender of FC Siam Navy in the Thai Premier League , the highest Thai league, since the beginning of 2014 .

Player career

Raychouni began his football career in the F-youth with the Berlin amateurs. In the B youth he moved to 1. FC Wilmersdorf . His next station was Tennis Borussia Berlin , where he spent his A youth. As an active player, he first played with the major league clubs Torgelower SV Greif , BFC Preussen and SV Altlüdersdorf before moving abroad for the first time in the 2011/12 season and being under contract with Woodlands Wellington Football Club in the S. League , Singapore's professional league. In the 2012/13 season he moved to Safa SC Beirut in the Lebanese Premier League and was able to celebrate both the championship and the cup there. He was also used at Safa SC in the AFC Cup , an international cup competition. The transfer to Thailand took place during the 2013/14 winter break. An offer from Bahrain led Munier to join ISA TOWN CLUB in Bahrain for the 2014/15 season. After a successful season under the Bahraini coaching legend Khalil Schuair, there were offers from other clubs from Bahrain. However, the Thai coach and former midfielder Theerawekin Seehawong was able to convince Raychouni to return to Thailand for Nong Bua Lamphu Pitchaya FC for the 2016 season.

Coaching career

Munier Raychouni successfully completed the coaching course for the B license at the Berlin Football Association in July 2017 and achieved the necessary B-Elite NC. Since August 2017, he has been training the U17s as head coach at the Charlottenburg club CFC Hertha 06 and is an assistant coach for the first men's team in the major league. After coach Kemal Halat's resignation , he took over the position of head coach at Hertha 06 until the winter break in October 2017. The goal of the season was to stay up at the start of the season. After a bad start to the season under coach Kemal Halat, the hoped-for positive turn came under interim coach Munier Raychouni. Due to the good results Raychouni was able to achieve in a very short time, the contract was extended until the end of the season. Due to changes within the club and differences of opinion, Raychouni announced his resignation on February 18, 2018.

Munier Raychouni has been working as an assistant coach at the Berlin AK 07 in the Regionalliga Nordost since July 1, 2018 .

Youtube channel

Raychouni opened his own YouTube channel in March 2017 , in which he deals with different game situations and shows tactical solutions. From March 2018, Raychouni will analyze the upcoming opponents from the Bundesliga as well as his own game situations for Hertha BSC on TV-Berlin's TV show "Querpass".
