Murat Jašarević (born March 18, 1969 in Sarajevo ) is a former Bosnian football player .

Career

Jašarević started his career at his home club in Goražde . At the age of 20 he moved to the top Yugoslav club FK Sarajevo and became a regular player straight away. With Sarajevo he played against teams like Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade for the title of the first Yugoslav league. After his stint at FK Sarajevo, Jasarevic moved to Pazinka Pazin . After a successful time in Croatia, Jašarević moved from Pazinka Pazin to the Bundesliga for MSV Duisburg . In Duisburg he made his debut on the 27th matchday of the 1993/94 season in the 1-0 defeat against 1. FC Köln , in the further course of the season he completed five more missions. In the following season he played eleven more times for the zebras. He then moved to the 2nd Bundesliga for Hannover 96 . In Hanover Jašarević belonged to Roger Prinzen to the regular staff in the defense, but with the 16th place in the table at the end of the season, relegation could not be avoided. Jašarević left Hanover and played the following two years at FSV Zwickau . In the first season the relegation could be avoided, but in the second year Zwickau got relegated, so he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga for the second time. Until the end of his career, Jasarevic played in the regional league for FC Erzgebirge Aue , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga, and for Wuppertaler SV .
