Murphy is a small town in central Argentina . It is located in the southwest of the province of Santa Fe in the Department of General López and has almost 4,000 inhabitants.
Location and geography
The city is located on the Ruta Nacional 33 about 10 km northeast of Venado Tuerto in the northwest of the Pampa plain, which is used intensively for agriculture in the region. The provincial capital Santa Fe is about 300 km further north, Buenos Aires about 350 km east.
