Murray Chatlain (born January 19, 1963 in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan , Canada ) is Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas .

Life

Murray Chatlain received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Saskatoon on May 15, 1987 .

Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on June 23, 2007 Coadjutor Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith . The Apostolic Nuncio in Canada, Archbishop Luigi Ventura , donated him episcopal ordination on September 14 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Saskatoon, Albert LeGatt , and the Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith, Denis Croteau OMI . On May 10, 2008, Murray Chatlain became Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith, succeeding Denis Croteau OMI, who retired for reasons of age.

On December 6, 2012, Benedict XVI appointed him. to the Archbishop of Keewatin-Le Pas. He was also Apostolic Administrator of Mackenzie-Fort Smith until a successor was appointed on October 15 of the following year .
