Mark Hagemoen

Mark Hagemoen (born September 4, 1961 in Vancouver , British Columbia , Canada ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic Bishop of Saskatoon .

Life

Mark Hagemoen received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Vancouver on May 12, 1990 . There he then worked as a parish priest and in leading positions in the field of youth work. Pope Benedict XVI awarded him the title of Honorary Prelate of His Holiness in December 2007 . Hagemoen was also Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Vancouver.

On October 15, 2013, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith . The Archbishop of Grouard-McLennan , Gérard Pettipas CSsR , donated him episcopal ordination on December 15 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Vancouver , John Michael Miller CSB , and the Archbishop of Edmonton , Richard William Smith .

On September 12, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Saskatoon. Hagemoen is a member of several commissions within the Canadian Bishops' Conference.
