Jon Hansen
Jon Paul Christian Hansen CSsR (born February 18, 1967 in Edmonton , Alberta , Canada ) is a Canadian religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith .
Life
Jon Hansen joined the Congregation of the Redemptorists in 1998 and laid the temporal vows from. In 2002 he made his perpetual profession. Hansen received on 24 April 2004, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On December 15, 2017, Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Mackenzie-Fort Smith. The Archbishop of Grouard-McLennan , Gérard Pettipas CSSR, donated him episcopal ordination on March 18 of the following year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Edmonton , Richard William Smith , and the Bishop of Whitehorse , Héctor Vila .
