Mohammad Mustafa Amini Castillo (born April 20, 1993 in Sydney ) is an Australian football player . He is under contract with Aarhus GF .
Origin and childhood
Amini was born in Sydney to an Afghan father and a mother from Nicaragua . He grew up in the Western Sydney area and attended Sherwood Grange Public School. After his time at Westfields Sports High School, he moved to Lake Ginninderra College in the ACT. Its Afro look is particularly striking . He is also fluent in Dari-Persian and Spanish .
Career
In the club
From 2004 to 2008 Amini was with Blacktown City FC . He also played for the Australian Institute of Sport from 2009 to 2010. In his first season as a professional player in the Australian A-League Amini was runner-up with the Central Coast Mariners . In March 2011 he went to Europe and completed a two-week trial training session at the German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund . BVB signed him in July 2011, but loaned him to the Mariners for another season.
In the 2011/12 season Amini was first table with his club in the regular season, but they had to admit defeat in the final round Brisbane Roar .
One year after his commitment, Amini finally joined the squad of the then German champions for the 2012/13 season , for whom he scored his first goal for the 2nd team in the game against MSV Duisburg on matchday 7 of the 2013/14 season .
In the summer of 2015, Amini moved to the Regionalliga West after the relegation of Borussia Dortmund II and due to a lack of prospects with the professionals in the Danish Super League to Randers FC . In the summer of 2016, Armini moved from Randers FC to Aarhus GF within Denmark.
In the national team
Amini played for the Australian U-20s at the U-20 World Cup in Colombia in 2011 and was used in every game. However, Australia failed in the preliminary round as bottom of the table with only one point from three games against Spain , Costa Rica and Ecuador .
