Myra Çakan

Myra Cakan (born October 31 in Hamburg ) is a German Cyberpunk - author and journalist .

Life

Myra Çakan studied acting and music and took part, among other things, in a workshop on writing sitcom scripts and in screenwriting seminars by Don Bohlinger and Ronald Wolfe . Her story, Daughter of Far Stars , was printed in 1989. For her debut novel When the Music's Over she was nominated for the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize in 2000 and took second place in the category Best German-language novel .

Çakan lives in Holm-Seppensen in the northern Lüneburg Heath.
